Transform Education Recruitment UK is recruiting SEMH Teaching Assistants for Birmingham schools and education settings.

The role

• Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Help pupils engage with lessons and develop confidence.
• Build trusting relationships and support emotional regulation.
• Follow individual support plans and agreed behaviour strategies.
• Work closely with teaching staff to celebrate progress.

You will need

• A genuine passion for SEND.
• Patience, empathy and resilience.
• Strong communication skills and a consistent approach.
• Ideally, a Level 3 Childcare qualification.

Relevant experience with children or young people is welcome.
