Resource Base Teaching Assistant – Small Heath, Birmingham

Transform Education Recruitment is looking for a supportive and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist resource base in a school in Small Heath, east Birmingham.

The role

• ? ?Supporting pupils with SEND, which may include ASC and SLCN, 1:1 and in small groups
• ? ?Using visual supports, routines and sensory strategies to help pupils learn and regulate
• ? ?Supporting pupils to join mainstream lessons where appropriate
• ? ?Working closely with the resource base teacher and the SENCO
• ? ?Start: [date] | Contract: [long-term / day-to-day]

You'll need

• ? ?Experience supporting children with SEND (school, care or personal experience)
• ? ?Patience, empathy and good communication skills
• ? ?A TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
• ? ?Two recent professional references
