Role Overview
 
The French Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning. This role requires a teacher who is passionate about French subject education and committed to fostering a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
 

Qualifications and Experience
 

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Teaching License, or equivalent).
  •  A degree related to the subject you teach is preferred.
  •  Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and effective pedagogy.
  •  Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • Bachelors Degree in Science is required.


What the School Offers
 
 

  • A competitive tax-free monthly salary of  11,000-14,000 AED per month
  •   A furnished studio or 1-bedroom apartment for a teacher to live in on his/her own, A furnished 2-bedroom apartment for a married teaching couple, or      A housing allowance of AED 68,000 for the year.
  • Utilities (water & electricity): Teachers pay 50% in school-provided housing. Teachers pay 100% in housing not provided by the school.
  • Transportation to and from School: For teachers residing in school-provided housing, the school provides bus transportation for teachers to and from school on each school day.
  • Tuition Relief for Children: If both parents teach at the school: 100% for up to two children; 25% for third child.  If one parent teaches at the school: 100% for 1 child, or 50% each for 2 children
  • Document Attestation Costs: For teacher and school-sponsored dependents, the school will reimburse the reasonable costs of the attestation of documents up to a maximum of 1,200 AED.
  • Annual No-Absence Bonus: 1,000 AED 1 absence: 800 AED 2 absences: 600 AED 3 absences: 400 AED 4 absences: 200 AED 5+ absences: 0 AED
  • Air Travel: Annual round-trip air ticket for teacher; 100% cover for one school-sponsored dependent for one teacher parent at this school or 50% cover for up to two school sponsored dependents; if both parents teach at this school, 100% of flights cover for school sponsored dependents from and to nearest major airport to home of record, or cash equivalent. 
  • End of Service Bonus Payment: At the end of the teacher’s employment with the school, the teacher will receive a payment equal to the sum of 21 calendar days’ base salary for each of the first five years he/she worked at the school, and 30 calendar days’ base salary for each of any additional years he/she worked at the school.
  • Settling-in Allowance (Overseas Hires only): One-time allowance of 2,000 AED paid upon arrival at the school.
  • Visa Provided by the company.
  • Health Insurance: Medical coverage provided for the teacher, with school paying full amount of monthly premiums; 100% insurance premium cover for one school-sponsored dependent for one teacher parent, or 50% cover for up to two school sponsored dependents; if both parents teach at the school, 100% of insurance premium cover for school sponsored dependents.
