Head of EYFS – Immediate

Our client, is seeking an experienced Head of EYFS to lead their Early Years Foundation Stage programme. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary.
 
The successful candidate will shape the foundational learning experiences for the school’s youngest students, setting the tone for their educational journey and establishing best practice across the EYFS department.

• Lead curriculum development and pedagogical practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage

Preferred Requirements

• Extensive experience leading EYFS programmes ideally in the UK, with a track record of raising standards and outcomes
• Deep knowledge of early years pedagogy, child development, and play-based learning approaches
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staffing within an educational setting
• Strong communication skills and experience engaging with parents and stakeholders
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment for all children

Preferred Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status or equivalent early years teaching qualification
• Leadership or management qualification in education, or demonstrated senior leadership experience in EYFS
• Familiarity with international school curricula and frameworks such as the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme
